Community Christian School is blessed to be in a community that is so generous and cares about investing in things that pay dividends in the future (our children). Everything we do at Community Christian revolves around our mission. We desire to team with the parents in giving each child a solid foundation through Christian education. The teachers daily equip their students to be people that live their lives with integrity. Our vision is to develop young leaders that will positively influence the world around them. Would you consider partnering with CCS in making it possible for families to receive much-needed scholarships to help them with tuition? You can do so by investing in our Scholarship Fund. By investing in the General Fund, you are helping CCS keep tuition affordable for all families. We believe that growing the CCS Foundation gives long-term stability to our school. An investment in the CCS Foundation will keep giving to CCS forever—or until the Lord returns (the CCS Board can take up to 5% from the Foundation funds and use it for our school). The Foundation currently has over $1,000,000 in it, and we would like to see this amount continue to grow. Finally, investing in our Daniel Sorum Scholarship will help our seniors with college scholarships.

DANIEL SORUM SCHOLARSHIP
During the winter of 2005/2006, Daniel Sorum, a fourth-grade student at Community Christian School was diagnosed with cancer. His courageous battle ended in March 2007 when Daniel went home to be with Jesus. The impact and legacy that Daniel left with us were very significant. His love for life and Jesus was a very strong Christian testimony. Students, staff, parents, relatives, and friends yearned to have some kind of lasting memory of Daniel. It was therefore decided to create the Daniel Sorum Scholarship Fund. This fund will grow and benefit CCS students as long as there is a Community Christian School. The fund will be administered by two people appointed by the Sorum family and one CCS board member. Income from the fund will be awarded each year to a graduating CCS high school student as the Daniel Sorum Scholarship.
ANNUAL COMMUNITY AUCTION
Next year's Community Auction is scheduled for Saturday, April 15, 2023. CCS puts on an auction in the Spring each year to help raise money for the school.
