President of the Board
Jason started serving on the CCS board in 2016. He grew up in Burnsville, MN and graduated from Burnsville High School. He attended the University of Minnesota for two years, then went on to graduate from Bethel College in 1995 with a BA in Biblical and Theological Studies. Jason married his college sweetheart, Carina, in 1996, and together they have four children- Abby, Sam, Tim, and Sophia. Jason works at Rural Computer Consultants as the Information Technology Manager. Jason and his family attend Willmar AG Church.
Vice President of the Board
Tim started serving on the CCS board in 2014. Tim is married to Cindy and together they have seven children- Josh, Becca, Abby, Noah, Sage, Sam and David. Tim attended Edgerton Christian Elementary School and Southwest Minnesota Christian High School. He graduated from University of Sioux Falls in 1992 with a Biology/Chemistry major and then attended the University of South Dakota School of Medicine. He completed a family medicine residency at the Sioux Falls Family Practice Residency Program and was a family doctor in Luverne, MN before moving to Willmar in 2007. He now practices at Family Practice Medical Center. Tim and his family attend Living Hope Church in Willmar.
Justin started serving on the CCS board in 2016. Justin and his wife Beth together have three daughters – Madelyn and twins Sophie and Ella. Justin was born and raised in Watertown, SD. He moved to the Willmar area in 2005 after receiving his Civil Engineering degree at SDSU. Justin values the importance of Christian education through his experience of attending a Christian School K–8. Justin is a Principal Engineer at Bolton and Menk, Inc. in Willmar performing city engineering services to municipalities. When not working or volunteering, Justin enjoys fishing, golfing and spending time with his family camping or traveling. Justin and his family attend Immanuel Lutheran Church in Willmar.
David started serving on the CCS board in 2015. David and his wife Rebecca together have three children – Faith, Conway and Noah. He has a business degree from Crown College. He is the CFO at R&J Tours and enjoys working for a company whose motto is “Dedicated to presenting the greatness of God through the beauty of His Creation.” David and his family attend Refuge Church in Willmar.
Selena started serving on the CCS board in 2018. Selena grew up in Willmar where she attended CCS K-6. She attended Bethel University in St. Paul for 2 years, and then graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI with her Bachelor’s Degree in 2001. Selena lives in Willmar with her husband Ryan, and their two children, Isabelle and Elliott. Selena is currently employed as the Operations Manager at her family business, Uncommon USA, Inc. Selena and her family attend Refuge Church in Willmar.
Josh started serving on the CCS board in 2018. Josh and his wife Liz have two children- Ellie and Maxton. Josh attended ministry school in Rockford, IL. Josh is employed as a fulltime Youth Pastor at Willmar Assemblies of God Church. Josh's hope is to serve CCS through Christ-inspired ideas, vision and support. As a youth pastor of 12 years, he hopes to bring a valuable perspective that will help take CCS to the next level in serving families and growing the school's influence in our community. Josh and his family attend AG Church in Willmar.
Toni started serving on the CCS board in 2018. She grew up in Willmar and chose to return here to raise her family. She and her husband, Tayler live north of Willmar with their three children- Madison, Mason and Elsie. She has a strong background in banking and financial services, which evolved into project management and marketing. She works for Christianson PLLP as a Project Manager, leading change, scheduling and implementation of projects. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, studying alternative health and bonfires at the lake with family and great people. She and her family attend First Covenant Church.
Sarah L. Klaassen grew up in Somerset, WI and graduated from Somerset High School in 1998. Sarah earned her undergraduate degree from Hamline University in 2002, and her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota in 2005. In 2007, Sarah joined the Willmar law firm of Anderson, Larson, Hanson & Saunders PLLP, following a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Michael J. Thompson in Kandiyohi County District Court. Sarah is a Partner at Anderson, Larson, Saunders, Klaassen & Dahlager PLLP and practices primarily in family law and litigation.
Sarah married Gabe Klaassen, a Willmar native, in 2004, and together they have three children: Margo (5th grade), Gus (2nd grad) and Gwen (Kindergarten 2019).
Sarah serves on the board of the Willmar Area Community Foundation (2013 – present). She previously served on the board of directors for the United Way. She received the Volunteer Attorney Award in 2010.
Sarah and her family attend the Open Door Church in New London, Minnesota.
